The Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall Board of Trustees is committed to being representative of its community.
In developing the Board of Trustees, board members will be recruited first and foremost for their commitment to advancing the Library & Music Hall’s Mission. Beyond that, new members will be strategically selected:
- to be representative of the community the ACFL&MH serves vis a vis gender, ethnicity and age; and
- for competencies (financial, educational, legal, organizational management, theater management, community building, etc.).
As openings occur the Governance Committee will review the current composition of the Board of Trustees and will make every effort to nominate new board members that will enhance the Board in needed dimensions.
