Story Time
Story time is one of the most exciting things about the children’s library. When else are you allowed to sing and dance in the library without getting in ANY trouble? We have many different story times to pick from, so all families should be able to find the one that most suits their needs.
Babies and books is a story time for babies and toddlers ages 2 and under. Parents and children will play and learn together through songs, fingerplays, stories and more. Join us on Tuesdays at 11:30. Story time is about 25 minutes long.
Story and Craft Time is a story time for children ages 3 and up. Make your child a lifelong reader by introducing them to literacy early. During story time we sing songs, do fingerplays, and read stories. After we are done with our stories we keep our fingers and minds busy through a fun craft. Families are invited to stay in the childrens area and play after story time is over. The fun begins at 11:30 am on Thursdays and lasts about an hour.
Please check our calendar for dates and more details.
It’s Elementary!
Just because you are too old for story time, does not mean you are too old for the library. We still have tons of different things you can do at the library. Be sure to check out the Crafternoons each month or one of our many family activity days. Every month there is something new and fun.
Crafternoons are the first Tuesday of every month. Stop by any time after school until the library closes. The crafts will be on the table and all you have to do is follow the directions!
Please check our calendar for dates and more details.
