Our Acoustically-Excellent Hall

The ACFL&MH’s acoustically superb Music Hall is patterned after Carnegie Hall in New York City, and is renowned for its superb acoustics. Generations of students from Carnegie High School and regional schools have fond memories of band concerts, graduations, and theatrical and dance debuts on the Music Hall stage.

Today, Carnegie Carnegie Hall is home to two resident companies (Carnegie Performing Arts Center and Stage 62). The Hall is booked throughout the year with an amazing array of performances (see upcoming performances; past performances.) Literally and serendipitously sited “where Broadway meets Main Street,” Carnegie Carnegie Hall is a true regional asset, attracting world class performers (to record as well as to perform) and diverse audiences to the Library & Music Hall – and to the town.

The Hall’s lovely historic character enhances audience’s appreciation of any performance.
