Upcoming Performances

Long renowned for its superb acoustic and historic character, the Carnegie Carnegie Hall offers audiences with beautiful, comfortable new seating (on the orchestra level). Most performances offer general admission in the historic balcony seating — complete with the legendary hat racks under the seats. The ACFL&MH is fully accessible. Duquesne University’s Opera Workshop branches out with an opera from the contemporary canon: Mark Adamo’s, adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s beloved literary classic. The opera had its premiere at Houston Grand Opera in 1998 and was hailed as “destined to be an American classic.”
